I didn't take too many pictures of the sunset view so don't have much to share.

It was my 1st trip to Maldives to celebrate my birthday. I booked and stayed in Anantara Dhigu for 1 week and had a great time of my life. I was there alone, but I didn't felt alone because the staffs and the management made me felt at home and taken care of. Of course I love to travel to Maldives with someone special, but until I meet that special someone, I will continue to travel solo or with good friends that share the same interests as me. 

This sunrise views reminded me why I worked so hard and why life is beautiful and gorgeous. Tomorrow is a brand news day. As long as I continue to believe and see the goodness in every situation, my life will continue to be colourful, exciting and beautiful :-)! Never perfect, but always as honest and open as possible. I won't allow any ugliness to taint my life for too long. I always have a good life with or without someone special so nothing will change that. 

I wish everyone will choose to see the goodness in every ugly situation. Is not easy, but try your best. Hope these beautiful photos help to remind all of us that nothing last forever and if we don't treasure and value every beautiful moment, we might not have a chance to catch it again! So live for the moment. Ignore ugliness! That are the 2 keys to happy life :-)! At least it works for me!

Sunset in Oia, Santorini

The best sunset view I had seen by far. I had seen a lot of sunset views, but none beat the one in Oia, Santorini. My brother agrees with me too. See and judge for yourself. My photos might not do justice.....

Mystique Hotel in Oia Santorini

Oia, Santorini was in my bucket lists of places to visit and I went there in August 2012 with my brother to celebrate my birthday. It was my 1st holiday with my younger brother and we had a lot of fun. I enjoyed traveling with my brother and I missed that. 

We stayed in Mystique Hotel in Oia, Santorini and the hotel was gorgeous with stunning view! It is a place I will return again. Weather was super hot, about 40 degree Celsius, but it was windy so it was manageable. Lovely shops selling interesting arts that are unique to Santorini and people are very friendly. There were plenty of good looking men and pretty women :-)!

A destination that I would like to visit again with the love of my life somedays in the future! For now.....I'm happy that I had been there with my younger brother whom I love dearly.

The steps leading to our room were steep and we had to climb at least 50 steps or so daily to reach the street level or to get to the restaurant for breakfast and it was a great exercised for both of us. Damn tiring to be honest. hahaha!

We took over 1000 pictures during this trip to Greece. We started of in Athens, followed by Oia & Fira and finished it off in Mykonos. My brother didn't join me in Mykonos because he had to fly back early for work. I didn't really enjoy myself in Mykonos as people there weren't as friendly as Oia. Will write about Mykonos in separate post.
